In November of 2009 I met artist Michael Parker at a Public Arts Committee meeting here in Missoula, Montana. Since than I have been meeting with Mike to see how I can assist him with a Community Art class he is teaching (Spring 2010) at the University of Montana. I have shared with him my interests in doing a mural on the Orange Street tunnel. He and I really like this location for several reasons. One is that the space needs a better look, it also needs the help of many people in the community. We both share the desire to give back to communities by allowing art to be more accessible and bringing an educational experience at the same time.

ABOUT
The main goal of Two Seagulls is to enrich the lives of others through art and
to strengthen community through art education. We are creating a group of artists
who share this common goal which will emerge more ideas, projects, and concepts
from Two Seagulls.
This site is where you will find art that Two Seagulls is willing to donate or sell
to your organization. Most recently, founder Dave Bell has donated his photography
to several locations in Missoula, Montana. These locations include St. Patrick's
hospital, Missoula Police Department, The Poverello Center (homeless shelter), and
a few others.
Whether you are an artist looking to get involved, an organization in need of art,
or a potential donor we welcome your input.
Currently we are searching for individuals who would like to serve as board
members when we reach non-profit status.
